For a long time I have only ever used sketching pencils; ranging from 6B to 5H and they have worked wonderfully and I have mastered a technique when using them but now I'm trying something new.
My new pencils which were a present from Nick who is forever supportive, are soft graphite pencils whilst the ones before were just standard graphite pencils, these range from 9B to H and they are working beautifully, I have already cracked open the tin and started drawing; attempting another realism piece.
I have my reference photo and a clean sheet of paper along with my new pencils, what more do I need.
